BOYS LACROSSE EQUIPMENT:

The following equipment is required for those boys playing at the Bantam level and above.

1. NOCSAE approved Lacrosse Helmet (no hockey helmets)

2. Field player boys Lacroose Stick (see requirements below)

3. NOCSAE ND 200 certified Lacrosse Shoulder Pads required as of January 1, 2022

4. Lacrosse Arm Pads

5. Lacrosse Gloves

6. Lacrosse Rib Pads (optional)

7. Protective Cup

8. Mouthguard

9. Cleats

10. Socks

11. Shorts and Practice Jerseys

 

Stick Requirements:

1. Bantam sticks must be from 37"-42" long

2. Junior and Senior attack/middie sticks must be 40"-42" long

3. Junior defenseman sticks must be from 43"-62" long

4. Senior defenseman sticks must be no longer 72". Players with a longer stick must cut it down. If you have an expensive shaft, replace it with an aluminum one and cut it to the correct length.

GIRLS LACROSSE EQUIPMENT:

The following equipment is required for those girls playing at the Bantam level and above.

1. Field player girls Lacrosse Stick (see below)

2. SEI certified Goggles

3. Mouthguard

4. Cleats

Optional Equipment:

- Close-fitting gloves 

- SEI certified Headgear

 

Stick Requirements:

A girl's lacrosse stick must be an overall length of 35 1/2 - 43 1/4 inches. The head of the crosse must be seven to nine inches wide. The top of the ball when dropped in the pocket must remain even with or above the side walls. The goalkeeper's crosse may be 35 1/2 - 48 inches long, and up to 12 inches wide.
