Spring 2026 Registration OPEN!

Registration for the spring 2026 lacrosse season is now open, running through December 15th. Access registration here. Reminder all players require a USA Lacrosse membership that is active through the end of the 2026 season, and USA Lacrosse required all players to be age verified (i.e., birth certificate on file) as of July 1, 2025.

2026 Registration Fees & Schedule

Fiddlesticks (Pre-K) - $75

Bantam (K - 2) - $260

Lightning (3 & 4) - $360

Juniors (4 & 5) - $460

Seniors (7 & 8) - $460

Registration Includes:

  1. Winter Training
  2. Coaches
  3. Field Use
  4. Games / Referees
  5. Tournament/Jamboree Fees
  6. Team Equipment *Athlete must have personal equipment*
  7. Uniforms - will be ordered directly through Lax.com after registration closes and no later than January 15, 2026.

Fees are split into two installments, with the first installment of 32%  to be collected January 15 , 2026 via Visa,  MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from the same card/account on March 1, 2026.

Masuk Girls Lacrosse - 2024 Class L State Champions

Congratulations to the Masuk varsity girls lacrosse team for winning the program's 1st Class L State Championship with a 10-7 victory over Simsbury!

Monroe Lacrosse Association

Monroe Lacrosse Association, Inc. (MLA) promotes lacrosse among youths residing in Monroe, CT through grade-level programs, if possible or combination grades as a member of the Connecticut New York Lacrosse Association (CONNY). MLA is open to all interested participants, by teaching fundamentals of the game and promoting good sportsmanship, respect for all participants and teamwork, and by cooperating with the Masuk High School lacrosse programs. MLA is an active member of USA Lacrosse and the Positive Coaching Alliance.


2026 SEASON INFORMATION

Registration:

  • 10/31/25 - 12/15/2025

Rosters & Practice:

  • Breakdown of teams/rosters will be communicated in January. Depending on registration numbers, the Board may elect to construct skill-based teams at the Junior and/or Senior levels.
  • Practices will be scheduled between Monday - Thursday. The schedule for each travel team will be communicated in March after approval from Monroe Parks & Recreation.

Winter Training @ NYA in Newtown and Masuk

  • Schedule to be released in Q1 2026.

Bantam (Grades K-2) Teams:

  • 2 practices/week @ Great Hollow Lake, 90 min. each
  • 1-2 games/week
  • 8 - 10 total games not including tournaments/jamborees
  • 2 tournaments
  • preseason training and uniform included

Lightning (Grades 3&4) Teams:

  • 2 practices/week @ Great Hollow Lake, 90 min. each
  • 1-2 games/week
  • 10 - 12 total games not including tournaments/jamborees
  • 2 tournaments
  • preseason training and uniform included

Junior (Grades 5&6) Teams:

  • 2 practices/week @ Great Hollow Lake, 90 min. each
  • 1-2 games/week
  • 12 - 16 total games not including tournaments/jamborees
  • 2 tournaments

 Senior (Grades 7&8) Teams:

  • 2 practices/week @ Great Hollow Lake, 90 min. each
  • 1-2 games/week
  • 12 - 16 total games not including tournaments/jamborees

 Fiddlesticks:

  • Introduction to the game of lacrosse for boys and girls in pre-kindergarten.
  • The program consists of an hour clinic every week; location, day and time to be determined.
  • All players require a valid USA Lacrosse membership.
  • Monroe Lacrosse t-shirt provided.

CONNY LACROSSE

CONNY's primary purpose is to promote the game of lacrosse in a safe and sportsmanlike environment. CONNY wants kids to grow up playing a game of speed, position, and finesse, rather than physical intimidation. The goal is to conduct all our activities in a manner that will set an example of good sportsmanship and friendly competition for our young players.
