Monroe Lacrosse - 2025 Registration

Programming is open to all Monroe youth residents, starting in Pre-K through 8th grade.

2025 Monroe Lacrosse Player Registration

Registration for the spring 2025 youth travel lacrosse season is now open via the link above.

Parents are required to register their youth player(s) for the requisite level based on their current grade as shown below.  Players will only be moved up a level if (1) there is a need based on roster sizes and (2) player is capable of playing at an advanced level for age. Team alignment (grade based vs. combo teams) and rosters will be communicated in January, and updated on the SportsEngine app.

  • Pre-K: Fiddlesticks
  • Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade: Bantam
  • 3rd and 4th grade: Lightning
  • 5th and 6th grade: Juniors
  • 7th and 8th grade: Seniors

 

Code of Conduct

All members of MLA agree to abide by the Code of Conduct and to be subjected to the consequences of violating the Code. It is understood that by enrolling into the MLA program that players, parents and coaches are all bound by this Code of Conduct and its validity is hereby a matter of record and is not dependent upon physical signature.

Information to share for spring 2025 lacrosse season

  1. Registration fee is inclusive of: indoor training in December and March at NYA, spring practices, games and tournaments.
  2. No change to uniform design and fit for both the girls and boys for 2025.
    • Boys Bantam, Lightning, Juniors and Seniors: reversible tank top jersey (red & white), shooting shirt (black), shorts (white). *Boys shorts run small and top runs a bit larger / wider.
    • Senior Boys also need the throwback mesh red jersey.
    • Girls Bantam, Lightning, Juniors and Seniors: reversible racerback jersey (red & white), black running style game shorts. *Girls uniform runs small as game shorts are the same running style shorts with the shorter uniform top as worn in 2024.
  3. A separate link for families that need to purchase a new uniform bundle or individual uniform items will be distributed via email and posted on the website in December.
  4. New players will be assigned a new number after registration is complete.
  5. No charge or down payment required this year for registration. You will be required to enter payment information to complete registration, with first payment charged on January 1, 2025, and remaining balance charged on March 1, 2025.
  6. Credit card processing fees are a percentage of the total added to the amount charged on each payment date.
  7. Sports Engine app - the schedule and roster will be available on the Sports Engine app once published.
  8. Every team will practice at a minimum two days per week plus games on the weekend. Specific days and times of practice for each team will be communicated in March after Monroe Parks & Recreation approves all spring sports field application requests. Any requests or questions regarding practice days will go unanswered.
